Faction Identity
The Frost faction stands as an immovable force — patient, controlled, and devastating when the time is right. Masters of slowing magic, layered shielding, and freeze mechanics, they dominate the pacing of battle.
- ❄️ Freeze — halt enemy abilities
- 🛡 Reinforced ice shields and damage barriers
- ❄️ Slow effects to cripple enemy momentum
- 🔷 Reactive counter-damage on shield break
Frost Beasts
Frostfang Whelp → Frostfang Alpha
Born from razor-edged ice shards, Frostfang packs hunt in silence. As Alphas, they command blizzards with a single howl and tear through armor with frozen teeth.
Glacier Cub → Glacier Titanbear
Gentle giants as cubs, living among drifting ice fields. When they reach Titanbear form, each step shakes the battlefield and their shields feel like moving walls of glacier stone.
Snowstride Lynx → Snowstride Phantomclaw
Snowstride Lynxes leave no prints in the snow, stalking from the edges of vision. As Phantomclaws, they phase through frost and strike from nowhere, assassinating key targets with surgical precision.
Cryo Serpent → Cryo Leviathan
Minor river serpents that sleep beneath frozen lakes. When fully awakened as Leviathans, they coil around entire arenas, bringing tidal waves of absolute-zero water and hailstorms of shattered ice.
Moonlit Owl → Moonlit Frostwing
Lunar messengers who see through blizzards as if they were clear skies. Frostwings guide allied strikes from above, silencing enemy casters and amplifying the power of every frost spell cast beneath their shadow.
Polar Howler Pup → Polar Howler King
Frost-breathing pups that rally packs with excited cries. When crowned as Howler Kings, their roar becomes a battlefield-wide command, buffing allies and sending crippling chills through enemy ranks.
Frostmoth Larva → Frostmoth Monarch
Tiny larvae that cling to frozen branches, feeding on moonlight and snowdust. As Monarchs, they spread swirling frost powder that drains warmth, slowing entire enemy teams to a crawl.
Aurora Sprite → Aurora Spiritlord
Flickering lights dancing across the polar night. Spiritlords weave those colors into shields and beams of pure aurora energy, healing allies while burning through enemies.
Icehorn Staglet → Icehorn Sovereign
Young staglets that patrol the edges of the frozen realms. As Sovereigns, their antlers channel ancient ley-lines of ice, anchoring powerful barriers and punishing any foe who dares to cross them.
Evolution: From Egg to Sovereign
Every Frost beast begins as a dormant Essence Egg. Through careful nurturing, Essence feeding, and the dangerous Essence Burn Ritual, they rise through each stage until they reach their final, battle-ready Adult form.
Pure, unstable Essence. Traits and potential are seeded here, but nothing is fixed yet. Eggs are where rarity, faction and base stat rolls begin.
The first living form. Visual identity emerges, basic skills unlock and early synergy with your team starts to show.
Combat instincts sharpen. More skills, higher stats and stronger faction bonuses appear. This is where you start to specialize your beast.
Fully awakened, battle-ready form. Signature abilities unlock, max synergy is reached and the beast is eligible for ranked battles and future advanced evolutions.
Each evolution consumes Essence and permanently burns the previous form. This keeps the Arcano ecosystem deflationary while making every fully evolved Adult far more meaningful.
